Ex-govenor of Texas, Ann Richards passed away today. Known for her wit and humor (on George Bush: "He can't help it [saying stupid things]. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth!"), she will be missed, not just for her contributions to politics, but for her ideas that government can be changed by participation, something sorely needed this fall to boot the "W" cronies out.
