I know this site does not have many participants who believe in god... I'm probably the biggest sinner here... but in doing research today I came across a sad story about the great beloved mezzo-soprano, Marylin Horne. She delighted listeners of the Met for years (I for one) and has pancreatic cancer. Before she leaves us behind, the poorer, I'd like a few of us who enjoyed her performances in San Francisco or New York (along with many other venues) to offer up a little prayer for her. While the news about Marylin might be sad soon, I want her to know how much she gave to me, to all of us, for all those years and with that brilliant great voice. We love you, Marylin, now and always.
