Mike D'Angelo's tweet reviews. Go to Filmleaf's Toronto thread (http://www.filmleaf.net/showthread.php?4214-Toronto-International-Film-Festival-(tiff)-41-for-2016) for his new, ongoing, Twitter bulletin/reviews from the TIFF.

Note: I first became aware of Mike D'Angelo (http://www.panix.com/~dangelo/), a prolific and eloquent film critic whose whole career has been online, with his open letter to Lars von Trier in an AV Club bulletin (http://www.avclub.com/article/cannes-09-day-five-28137) from Cannes 2009. D'Angelo's distinctive and valid tweet-reviewing style was heralded by Kevin B. Lee in Fandor (https://www.fandor.com/keyframe/essential-tweets-34-reviews-from-the-man-who-tiffed-too-much) in a 2011 piece called "Essential Tweets: 34 Film Reviews From The Man Who TIFFed Too Much. . .Mike D’Angelo’s Twitter coverage of Toronto employs a new kind of film review aesthetic."

I think I started compiling them in 2012, when I wrote:
Mike D'Angelo (http://www.panix.com/~dangelo/) has covered Cannes and Toronto for at least ten years. His Twitter thumbnail reviews come out shortly after he sees each film. You find them here: https://twitter.com/gemko. He writes day-by-day Cannes reports for AV Club.

D'Angelo's day-by-day roundups have also been excellent. It was one of those that included the open letter to von Trier. He started doing coverage of Toronto for The Dissolve, a nice online movie website that unfortunately only lasted three years. D'Angelo has written festival coverage for AVClub in the past and covered Cannes (http://www.avclub.com/features/cannes-film-festival/) for them this year, but not Toronto, which Ignatiy Vishnevetsky and A.A. Dowd are covering for AVClub this year.
