I am very happy to have joined this site recently but i'd like to see a forum covering the latest films on dvds if it's possible.

A "dvd discussion forum" makes a ton of sense. Move my "Import DVD" thread there, if possible.

it's nice to see some support for the dvd forum. Also, oscar jubis you were right when you mentioned the lact of members here as i see the last post in this part of the forum was in MARCH.

I will add a dvd forum. Thanks for the suggestion. Members: yes indeed, not as many as there could be. Tell anyone you know who might be interested! I'll keep working on it on my end.

For accuracy's sake, my post in the "Best Film Website" thread at foreignfilms reads: "It's a rather small site but the level of discourse is high". When it comes to film budgets and other things, "small" isn't necessarily a bad thing. What I do appreciate about foreignfilms is the opportunity to get input from people from countries like Iceland, Turkey, Philippines, etc.

True, and i'm sure Peter wouldn't mind more traffic on his site.

I would love more traffic. But as Oscar suggests, small has its benefits too...ideally, more traffic from informed and thoughtful individuals. That would be great!

I like it just how it is. The atmosphere is a lot more friendly and the fact that everyone knows each other well enough makes discussions more interesting and fun. I'm proud to be a member of FilmWurld, and I'll be coming here for a long time.

A DVD forum now exists. Let me know if that is what you all had in mind.

HorseradishTree - I'm also very happy to be a member of a great group of people. Thanks for the post.
