The films the 2020 May Cannes Film Festival would have included
Reporting in the "Pandemic Streaming World" thread I noted that Cannes cancelled its festival this year and had plans to make selections for other festivals (which I don't think has tanen place). I didn't realize the Cannes Festival's entire list of film selections was later made public. It was published June 3 in Kyle Buchanan's New York Times "The Carpetbagger" column headed "Cannes 2020: What Films Would Have Premiered at the Film Festival?"
Only a few of these have turned up in the NYFF's virtua;/Drive-In 2020 Festival, which I'm watching now:.
