Release Date
Jia Zhangke's The World will be released by Zeitgeist Films on July 1st, starting in NY (Cinema Village). My expectations are certainly high; after all, Zhangke has directed two of my favorite films this decade, Platform and Unknown Pleasures.

Actually, my main concern was regarding subtitles which the Japanese disc didn't have. The new disc is Region-3 so it must be a HK or a Korean version and it looks like it will have English subtitles. Thanks for the info.
