I know today is the last day, but it actually has a few good movies!

I have just realized that some of you stay around the Bay.
Hi, Chris,
did you catch any of the movies?
Due to time commitment, I have managed to catch only 1 movie.
-- Lost Embrace (Argentina's Oscar submission)

However, they also screened
-- Step Forward (Venezuela's Oscar submission)

-- Aro Tolbukhin, in the Mind of a Killer (2002)

thanks

Pretty good lineup, one can really catchup on the latest spanish language films by attending.
Thanks for talking about Lost Embrace, I'm looking forward to it, hopefully it'll get released here. Aro Tolbukhin is a masterpiece, it's one of best spanish language films i've seen in recent years.
Our Spanish showcase is coming up next month (films from Spain) with some great selections.

Aro Tolbukhin
Yeah, the only dvd available with English subs is a release by Lauren Films in Spain. Mexican dvd doesn't have subs.
Spanish dvd isn't cheap but it's available here:

This U.S based ebay seller is also selling the same disc which comes out to be a little cheaper considering the cost of shipping from dvdgo or any Spanish site for that matter:
