No, I haven't seen it but I am looking forward to it. I can't say that I'm a huge Wong Kar-wai fan but I've appreciated all of his efforts so far. 2046 as you probably know has been edited and then re-edited since it's premiere at Cannes earlier this year. It's HK dvd is already out if anyone is interested.

Wong Kar-wai was still working on the film when it was shown at Cannes. He claims the film is still a work in progress so who knows, but it's that kind of film. Expect longer versions to come out in the future like it happened with Hero so this is as complete as it gets for now.

After a bit more research, the mainland Chinese dvd is out (dvd 9 has English subtitles, dvd 5 doesn't). The quality is said to be very poor.

The HK dvd is coming out on December 10th in various formats.

I first got the original limited edition of 2046.
However, after 87 min, the DVD jittered.
    ;(

And I paid US$38, incl. shipping fee and subsequent return shipping fee!!!
I am still waiting for the replacement -- more than 3 weeks have passed.

Come On hengcs! You know it's better not to go after these Asian releases right away.

Sweet! I've seen most of it, but again, awesome! I wish they'd used Takeshi. Then it'd be like Chungking all over again.
