Sam Fuller's The Big Red One - The Reconstruction

The film will be presented on a dics with a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and English Dolby Digital 5.1 track, the disc will also include an audio commentary, documentaries, additional scenes, a photo gallery and a TV spot.

Great news, I have the shorter version of VHS somewhere, but never got to watch it, and of course missed the reconstruction in the theater, so at least they aren't wasting much time with the DVD.

    DVD

Got an opportunity to check out the recently released DVD and it looks great (as expected).
Also, a few more extra features than what I knew about:

    *Commentary by Mr. Schickel.

*There's a great "Anatomy of a Scene" doc to inspect and analyze scenes from both versions.

*A documentary on the RECONSTRUCTION itself called "The Real Glory," plus one on Fuller.

*Many trailers/stills from both eras and much more.
