    I opened my e-mail today to find out another genius and legend is gone.

    George Carlin died of heart failure last night, aged 71.

    It's raining like a motherfucker up here, and it's raining in my heart.

    Seinfeld had a homage to Carlin in today's NYTimes: DYING IS HARD. COMEDY IS HARDER.
