Good job, Oscar, very well written, and I learned things about the actual legal content of the film. Would not have known this is "a legal procedural commonly used as a teaching tool in law schools." Your observations on how small details in the backgrounds of shots and their duration and distances convey details about the character development -- and Preminger's distinctive style -- seem very germane. Your choice of the three scenes seems academically shrewd and economical.

I always admired Gazzara from THE STRANGE ONE on, and the laid-back Jimmy Steward had such charisma. Makes me want to see it again.
