    Your "Fantasy" Film Collectible

Being a collector of film memorabilia (lobby cards and stills primarily, nothing major, but I'm more than happy with what I've got...*grin*). Given the popularity of collecting such items, I'd like to hear what those of you out there would collect from YOUR favorite films, be it posters, props or costumes, if money was no object. Here's a few I'd like to have:

    1) Humphrey Bogart's white jacket from "Casablanca"

    2) Original 1-sheet (27x41) posters from the Universal
Studios horror classics "Dracula", "Frankenstein", "The
Wolf Man", "The Mummy", "The Phantom of The Opera"
and "The Creature from The Black Lagoon"

    3) The Ark of The Covenant from "Raiders of The Lost Ark"

    4) Basil Rathbone's deerstalker hat from "The Adventures
    of Sherlock Holmes"

    5) Bowler hats from Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy

    6) The Time Machine from the M-G-M 50's version of "The Time
    Machine"

I would consider removal of a limb for Tom Cruises' mask in Eyes Wide Shut.

    Ok, let's fantasize...

James Bond's Astin Martin from Goldfinger

The Rubie slippers (They're in the Smithsonian)

The Rosebud Sled (Spielberg has one)

    Rocky's boxing gloves

    Indiana Jones Hat and Whip

Some original 70mm frames of Star Wars

The spaceship model from The Day The Earth Stood Still

    Austin Power's glasses (Baby!)

Gandalf's Wizard Wand or the one ring

    John Wayne's hat or boots

and finally, the ultimate trivia personal item from a movie...

    The actual Ten Commandments!

Re: But Are They THE "Ruby Slippers"?...

Interesting story, the "ruby slippers" in The Smithsonian...seems likes there's at least THREE pairs known to exist, each having a certain claim to being "the" pair from the film...

The brief case (including the battery and light globes or Mr Wallace's soul or whatever it was) from Pulp Fiction would be a winner.

Some of the props from Alien (the version of the alien that attached itself to John Hurt's face) would be nice.

Most of all, I'd like the Footscray T shirt worn by Russ Crowe in Romper Stomper - but that might have an appeal specific to me only (NB:- Romper Stomper was filmed before Footscray became the Western Bulldogs)

the buoy from the beginning of Jaws (I'd put it in my pool and re-enact the scene for guests)
the plastic chest Jane Fonda wore in Barbarella
the straight razor used in Dressed to Kill
    the bucket used in Carrie
the giant mechanical paw from King Kong
Rita Hayworth's PTBOM dress from Gilda
original movie posters for Murder by Death, Darling, Carnal Knowledge, and The Last Picture Show
the casket from Imitation of Life
    the house/motel set for Psycho

I don't ever want to be boring.

    KUNDUN

I want the colorful, tall, oddly-shaped head gear wore by Buddhist priests in Kundun.

Ash's boomstick or chainsaw from Evil Dead II, forget the rest!

Well, actually don't forget the rest because I think I might have more.

A flying saucer from Plan 9 from Outer Space. I watched a great documentary on the DVD that finally solved the mystery of what they are. Turns out they were just a bunch of kids' space flyer models or something. Man, that would be a piece.

Sean Connery's head from The Man Who Would Be King.

That whole cityscape thing that Alec Baldwin made in Beetlejuice.

Batman's costume from the first or second films.

The Green Destiny from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

The box full of radioactivity in Kiss Me Deadly.

That looks pretty good for now.

Too bad they wrecked Falfa's '55 Chevy (the same '55 that was used in Two-Lane Blacktop).

You're obviously a perennial psycho killer.
(not that there's anything wrong with that...)

Captain America's Bike from Easy Rider.

The Millenium Falcon, complete with wookie co-pilot... hold on, the phone's ringing. (... what do you mean it doesn't work? Of course it works! haven't you seen the movie? It can outrun those imperial cruisers and do the quadra run in 3.2 parsecs!)

The '72 Impala "Red Shark" convertable from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and while we're at it, the leather satchel, complete with all of the goodies.

Haley Barry's lace thong from Swordfish (which, by the way, was a waste of time)

    Hal 9000

How about movie merch that you wouldn't want to have? I'll start:

The Bunny from Roger and Me
