    Makana

This young Hawaiian singer-songwriter is my hero. He sang his new pro-'Occupy' song at the gala dinner of the APEC leaders in Hawaii for 45 minutes, and got away with it.

Could anybody be more Woody Guthrie than this?

    I love this kid.

Here in Canada yesterday (in Toronto) Gordon Lightfoot appeared in St. James park to visit his daughter Meredith who is an Occupy Toronto protestor.

If we got Gordon Lightfoot on our side, we got THE UNIVERSE on our side.

This thing will not die. Au Contraire.
    The evictions only fuel resolve.
Arguments need to be strengthened, and I'm sure they will. This movement just got legs, after only a few months.
Free Speech can make mucky-mucks squirm more than markets.
    Believe it.

The mechanics and kinks are being worked out. It's evolving as it goes. It's inspiring, despite all the derision I hear.
I can see it for what it is.
I don't agree with living like a total freak- shitting in flower beds and shooting up in tents- WTF is that shit. You won't help the cause by doing shit like that so knock it off. Corpses in tents is not part of the plan. Throwing garbage everywhere and being belligerant doesn't fly.
    Show them CLASS.
    Just like Makana.
