    NEBRASKA (Alexander Payne)

What a brilliant movie this is.
With absolutely Gorgeous black and white cinematography, it is a beautiful tale of redemption starring Bruce Dern.
The Redemption in question is not just claiming a *winning* million-dollar sweepstakes prize, but redemption for other poignant items.
I laughed hard at a couple scenes- the dialogue in this film is priceless. Such great lines delivered without pretense or angling for an Oscar.
It's just sheer quality filmmaking and I recommend this great film to anybody. I saw it yesterday and it is wonderful.
You never know quite how things will play out and I love that.
I'm curious what people think of the ending. In fact, I'm curious what people think of the movie in general.

It's one of the best American films I've ever seen.

Very glad you like this one, one of the year's clearcut best among some (to my mind) very dubious items.
