No I havent seen such an idea so blatantly expressed. There is a difference between people who fight well under stress in danger with their adrenalin up and someone who relishes violence because they have antisocial personality disorder (APSD), sometimes called sociopathy, which is suggested here, with the psychiatrist. You need to see this movie. But then again, you don't, because it's not worth seeing.

I don't know any theories of cinema violence. Generally I don't approach movies theoretically. But I would have thought Hollywood violence was homegrown.
