    I'm sure you could add more and wish you would. I really had never seen any of his films before this. They had sounded extremely off-putting.

    I have not seen "Rimini".
    In the arts in general, a lot of masterpieces have put off many people.
    Films by Pasolini, Akerman, and Godard come first to mind.
    I found the scenes of self-abuse in Paradise: Faith very off-putting but, in 2014, I listed it as my favorite film of 2013.

    That's very interesting. I've really never had an opportunity to see an Ulrich Seidl film before this, which was a screener. I was supposed to publish this earlier.
