THE ANIMAL KINGDOM/LE REGNE ANIMAL (Thomas Cailley 2023) RENDEZ-VOUS OPENING NIGHT FILM

Cailley's first feature in a decade follows up on the sci-fi path he took in a recent TV series. This time a father and son confront sudden changes in species from human to animal hybrids creating chaos in France and in their own family. Romain Duris as the father and Paul Kircher as the son make a powerful, engaging duo in this movie very successful in France soon to be released in the US by Magnolia.
