    LET'S GO KARAOKE! (Nobuhiro Yamashita 2023)

    A lead boy soprano from a choir bonds with a yakuza gangster who seeks his help because he's afraid of being penalized by his boss for bad karaoke singing. Very cute, and with some amusing song numbers.

    Let's Go Karaoke!, 108 mins., debuted Taipei Nov. 2023; released Jan. and Feb. Japan and Taipei. It was screened for this review as part of the 2024 NYAFF.
