FALLEN LEAVES KUOLLEET LENDET (Aki Kaurismäki 2023)

A lonely man and woman find possible happiness after ups and downs, despite the man's alcoholism. Kaurismäki's style never falters; his films seem to be time capsules of fifty years ago. But this one doesn't quite live up to the raptures at Cannes, due to thinner content and superficiality in its treatment of addiction.
