Anyone else able to attend any of the screenings? Saw Peter Mullan's "The Magdalene Sisters" today. The story is a haunting one- the plight of some 30,000 Irish Catholic women, subjected to horrible living/working conditions at the Catholic church-run laundry camps in the 60's. It was all but legalized slavery. Will write a review shortly.
